Work Place Reform
Regal Landscapes has been an active participant in the industries
process of reform in the work place. Our company has in place a reform package consisting of integrated systems
of Quality Assurance, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Relations and Environmental Management.
Quality Assurance
Our company has a Quality Assurance system in place complying
with ISO AS/NZS 9002. This system has been working effectively on all projects. This was confirmed by a recent
audit by Civil & Civic.
Occupational Health & Safety
To ensure the safety and long term health of staff, and to minimise time lost due to injury, Regal Landscape have
developed an Occupational Health and Safety system that adopts a series of safety audits, checklists and inspection
points to identify and eliminate hazards on our work sites.
Environmental Policy
Regal Landscapes have developed a policy that is integrated with our Quality Assurance system, to minimise or eliminate
the impact of our construction on the adjoining environment. The policy involves an initial environmental audit,
checklists and inspection points to identify and eliminate potential threats to the environment.
Industrial Relations / Human Resource Management
The continuing and long term success of Regal Landscapes
is dependent up the quality and commitment of its' staff. For this reason, we place a great deal of importance
on the development of our employees.
Our Certified Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, has as one of its key components, a structured career path that
it is possible for each of our personnel to follow. Each step on the path is defined by the competencies that the
holder of that position is expected to possess and the agreement defines the training that the company will provide
to help our staff obtain these competencies.
Regal Landscapes Enterprise Agreement was developed by rewarding process of consultation between management, employees
and the union.
At the end of the process we had an agreement that was to the benefit of all parties and will provide Regal Landscapes
with Industrial stability and security for years to come.
Our certified Enterprise Agreement ensures harmonious industrial
relations on our projects.
